Spring into Action
BTCV's Spring into Action campaign will run from 1 May to 7 June
2006, building on last May's Year of the Volunteer Environment
Month, a successful partnership which motivated thousands of
volunteers across the UK to improve their local environment.
Spring into Action aims to raise the profile of
environmental volunteering and to bring in new volunteers,
particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds. BTCV itself will be
running over 300 events across the UK, from bird-box making and dry
stone walling to pond restoration and community gardening.
Groups can register their own community events with the
campaign, helping to raise awareness of their activities with both
