The City Bridge Trust makes
grants in excess of £15 million a year to charitable projects
benefiting the inhabitants of Greater London. Since we began
grant-making in 1995, we have awarded over 5,500
grants totalling £211 million.
Our sole trustee is the
City of
London Corporation.
IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENT The
City Bridge Trust embarks on its five year
review Every five years the Trust undertakes a major
review of its grant-making policies and procedures. The existing
main grants criteria have been in place since 2002 and it is now
time to take a fresh look at how the Trust does business.
The Trust's main grants programme is
currently closed to new applications. We plan to launch
our new programme in July 2008.

IMPROVING SERVICES FOR OLDER PEOPLE
The Small Grants scheme,
Improving
Services for Older People, will be closing while
an evaluation of the programme takes place. The deadline
for the receipt of new applications is midday on 1
October 2008. Applications received after the deadline will not be
considered.

London: Making Connections The third issue in
our series of knowledge-sharing papers is now available. The
new edition looks at LASA's (London Advice Service Alliance)
Circuit Rider project which we funded jointly with the Big Lottery
to help third sector organisations build their ICT capacity.
